Lowry's Golf Course Tees Off May 23

DENVER - Golfers, mark your calendar for Memorial Day weekend. CommonGround Golf Course in Lowry is set to open Saturday, May 23.

Owned by the Colorado Golf Association and the Colorado Women’s Golf Association, CommonGround is the work of world-renowned architect Tom Doak and his Renaissance Golf Design group. The 7,200-yard, par 71 layout was designed to allow golfers of any ability to enjoy the course. The new facility includes an 18-hole championship course, an enhanced practice facility and two short courses devoted to junior golf.

“The course is in great shape,” said Dave Troyer, golf director of CommonGround. “The construction could not have gone smoother. The Lowry community is in for a great golfing experience here at CommonGround.” CommonGround recently launched its new website – www.commongroundgc.com.

The site features hole-by-hole descriptions, course rates and a calendar of events. CommonGround also announced pricing for its annual pass that is only available to CGA and CWGA. Individual golf passes start at $2,000 and include unlimited rounds of golf on both the championship course and the par-3 course, option to purchase an extra day of advanced tee time reservations and a 10 percent discount on select golf shop merchandise. If you purchase the pass before March 31, you will have access to play the golf course beginning May 1, unlimited range usage at no extra cost and 10 free cart rentals. For more information, call 303-340-1520 or email dtroyer@commongroundgc.com.

CommonGround is next door to Lowry’s new EastPark neighborhood. New homes are available for the $100s to $1 million. For more information, visit www.lowry.org/eastpark
