LOWRY COMMUNITY ADVISORY COMMITTEE
The Lowry Community Advisory
Committee, established in 1994, has up to 21 members who advise
the Lowry Redevelopment Authority Board of Directors on potential
community impacts of redevelopment activities. Committee members
include both Lowry residents and neighbors. Members are appointed
by the mayors of Denver and Aurora. The redevelopment has
benefited from widespread citizen participation since the
closure announcement was made by the Air Force in 1991.
