year since 1996, at least 22 percent of those rentals have been
affordable, according to HUD standards. Currently, more than
500 affordable rental apartments are located throughout the
Lowry neighborhood and may be mixed with market-rate homes.
At build out, nearly 29% of Lowry's apartments will be affordable,
according to HUD standards. Affordable apartments are intended
to serve income-qualifying individuals and families.
