by the Lowry Redevelopment Authority, Lowry TransOptions promotes
the utilization of transportation other than a personal vehicle
-- bus, carpool, vanpool, biking working, walking and telecommuting
and teleworking.
The Denver Regional Council
of Governments (DRCOG) awarded three grants to the Lowry Redevelopment
Authority for the following purposes:
1. TDM-Site Friendly:
Encouraging commercial tenants to sponsor TransOptions through
site-friendly improvements such as preferential parking, bike
racks and bike storage accommodation.
2. Telecommuting/Telework:
Working one day a week from home on your personal computer.
Telework Hotline 720-570-3343.
3. Telecommunity:
Providing real-time transit information for Lowry residents,
workers and students via www.LowryLink.com,
the community network. This telecommunity, called Find
It!, was specifically designed to assist Lowry residents
in learning about and using a variety of transportation options
including: RTD bus and light rail, carpools and vanpools.
It also links to up-to-the-minute reports on traffic conditions
around the metro area.
