BUSINESSES
AT LOWRY
Gloria
Lara, Volunteer, Owner and Resident
After
purchasing a home in the Northwest Neighborhood, Gloria Lara
opened two businesses in the Lowry Town Center -- REMAX Avenues
and Realty Nations Mortgage LLC -- and joined the board of
directors for . And most recently, she
was elected president of the newly formed Lowry Town Center
Merchants Association.
Lowry
offered a springboard for when she purchased a Re/Max International
franchise with partner and son, Derek Camunez. "We've
been in for years but were ready to take the next
step and buy into a worldwide organization. Derek lived at
Lowry and thought it would be a great location for
our agency. I later moved here and thought the same thing!
We've received such a nice response from the community. Our
hope is to become a valued resource for our Lowry neighbors."
Re/Max
Avenues and Realty Nations are both located on the second
floor of the Town Center above Chewy's and Squeeze. In all,
the two companies have 36 staff members, many of whom are
multi-lingual.
Gloria
was a natural choice to become the first president of the
Merchants Association, formed in 2004. Her new role is to
connect with other Lowry organizations and to get the word
out about all the great offerings in the Town Center. To start,
Gloria and the association's leadership are developing a year-round
calendar of events and promotions.
